I live in Altoona, but the Altoona hospital ,but love going to Bedford Pa hospital. It's a small hospital with great nurses and doctors. In the past few years my health has decided, low sodium levels that scare me! I don't know how it got to be this way but the doctors and nurses are willing to check things out. I feel relaxed with this hospital. They have been top notch ,understanding to the point that I only trust them. When I went to altoona pa hospital they put me in as a inpatient but the very next day said go home and see your family doctor. I was scared.i never dealt with low sodium levels before. And my anxiety was so bad and Bedford hospital helped me threw a bunch of anxiety visits. Thank you this hospital is the best and I trust all that work here and with my problems, that I hope get better. God bless you all!

The service that my boyfriend got at this hospital was A1. We are not from the area and had to wait hrs for a ride back to get our car because he is a truck driver and got sick on the road. The lady at the front desk/information desk and another lady felt bad for us and made us a goody bag so that we could have something to snack on and drink while we waited. I wish I knew their names. We are really appreciative for everything they did from the EMTS, DOCTOR, NURSES AND THE 2 SPECIAL LADIES that made the bag❤️

I echo the sentiment that "I have never had such a positive experience in a hospital". I was taken into the ER immediately. Each person treated me with care and respect. The doctor was competent, caring, and informative. I was really shocked at the quality of care.

Dr. David Cain is the best! He treated both my 18mo and my husband within a 48 period. He was amazing with my son who loved him, they walked all over the ER together. He got my husband the help he needed after several dentists couldn't seem to handle it. Dr. David went out of his way to call a colleague and get my husband in asap for a tooth extraction. Our nurse in the ER department, Tara was also great. We were in and out within a few hours for both visits. I have never had such a positive experience in an ER! Truly so grateful.

Great place - clean, modern equipment, friendly staff who all seemed happy to answer any questions I had. Most recently I was here for an abdominal surgery that involved an overnight stay. I was checked on at least every two hours during the night, asked what meal choices I wanted for the following day, and never had to wait long for someone to respond if I pressed the call button for assistance. Everyone was professional most were actively friendly (and the few who were quiet I'm guessing were at the ends of their shifts and just tired, because they were still pleasant). I can also highly recommend Dr. Burch, he's fantastic, super positive, and will make you feel like you're talking to an old friend.

I've had to visit UPMC bedford 3 times now. Twice for x-rays and once for an MRI. I have had the absolute best experiences here. Every single staff person I've encountered has been so kind. Sherri and Karen at check-in were so warm and friendly. Susan in x-ray worked with empathy and genuine care as she supervised the techs, who were also very kind, patient and thorough. The MRI team was also outstanding. Everything flowed smoothly and efficiently every single visit. It's a breath of fresh air to be treated with this kind of care. Thank you!

My boyfriend had a procedure done for the first time and the team here was amazing. Thank you so much for easing his mind and making him comfortable. He would recommend anyone to come here. He also said if he needs another procedure done, he'd want to come back here. God Bless You All at Bedford Hospital.

We had a great experience at Bedford Hospital during a very stressful situation. The doctor was wonderful, he took the time to ask questions, listened closely to how he was feeling, and made us feel confident in the care being provided. Check-in went smoothly, the nurse tech was great, the IV nurse was amazing, and the X-ray techs were very kind and efficient. Everyone worked together so well and helped him start feeling better quickly. I wasn’t sure what to do and knew he was in bad shape, but the care and attention we received made all the difference. We are very grateful to everyone there.

Great staff from the ER to the in-patient rooms. Nurse Kelly and Kenzie were both excellent. Dr’s Yang and “G” were both good as well. All the additional staffing, including nurses and Dietary were all friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for your care!!

I Had to take my daughter here which happens to be 5 hours from her primary care physician. They immediately took great personal care of my daughter, confirmed her RSV diagnoses and had us out the door with prescriptions in an hour. By the time we left my daughter was acting herself again. I Really appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the thoroughness of the testing they did! Happy new year!
